Join us for an unforgettable celebration of Deaf culture, creativity, and community – suitable for all ages!

Hosted by Surface Area Dance Theatre in collaboration with the Deaf Rave Collective and with support from Newcastle Contemporary Art, this event offers a day-to-night experience filled with fun, learning, and entertainment.

Daytime Workshops (Family-friendly)

Workshop 1 (Ages 7+): 14:00 – 15:30

Workshop 2 (Ages 12+): 15:30-17:00

Nighttime Rave (18+)

19:00 – 23:00

About Deaf Rave

Founder Troi "DJ Chinaman" Lee began with a vision to give Deaf, Hearing and Disabled Artists and performers a platform to display their love for music. Deaf Rave provides entertainment with music, sign song and visual performances to an all-inclusive audience, globally and across the UK. Their aim is to unite everyone through the love and passion for music. Promoting unique Deaf/ Disabled identity and teaching everyone about Deaf Culture.
